This cylindrical vase was made using a durable white stoneware clay and was carefully hand-built. Since this piece was shaped completely by hand, rather than thrown on a wheel, it has slight organic irregularities to the shape/rim.

Layers of snowy white glazes and deep blueish purples flow together to create a wintery color combination inspired by Finland's gorgeous landscapes. The top of this vase is glazed with a Crystalline glaze.

Measurements- 7.5 H x 2.75 W in.

This piece was made to be narrow, light and airy. Due to the narrow shape, it is not wide enough to fit a hand into, which makes the interior floor slightly more rough than a piece that can be smoothed out during the wet clay stage. This makes the piece not suitable for food/drink.
